The Hancocks

The Hancocks deliver a sound that is elegant, classy, and some describe it as angelic. They provide a classical Violin/Clarinet Duet (optional 3rd cello) and a traditional and/or contemporary vocal duet with guitar accompaniment (bass guitar optional). This is an ideal combination for the religious wedding service which often requires classical music before and after the service, and vocals during the service.

About the Hancocks:
Mr. and Mrs. Donald and Angela Hancock met in a music group at church, and have continued this mutual service as a married couple. Their strong faith expresses itself through their music.
Mr. Hancock has played violin since 1986. He has taught violin lessons according to the Suzuki Method and has played with such groups as The Classic Four String Quartet, The Four Tuxedos String Quartet, Mariachi Jovenes, Oremus, the Middle Income Household Band, and many others. He took up the guitar in 1998 in order to lead music at his home parish where he leads music with his wife nearly every weekend.
Mrs. Hancock has played clarinet since 1992, and studied Clarinet Performance at the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho. She performed with the Sound of America Honor Band and Chorus as they toured six European countries in the summer of 1999, and she was Idaho's State Solo contest winner in 2000. She has also been involved in numerous wind ensembles, symphony orchestras, and small ensembles throughout her career. She has sung her whole life in numerous choirs and at church, and continues to sing at her home parish on a weekly basis.
Their current musical endeavors include weekly music at their church, assitance with their church youth group music program, participation in a Christian praise and worship group known as Oremus, and regular help with church service music for weddings, baptisms, funerals, etcetera.
Together they form a dynamic duet experienced in classical, and both traditional and contemporary religious music.
